Chronic Idiopathic Constipation

What is CIC?

It is estimated that 14% of the population in the U.S. experiences chronic constipation; among those at risk are women and older individuals of all genders. The highly uncomfortable experience can often be painful, with constant bloating and flatulence.
Chronic Idiopathic Constipation (CIC) is classified as a functional gastrointestinal disorder, a health condition that leads to improper digestive function and chronic symptoms of constipation with no visible cause seen in diagnostic testing.

Clinical Data

10 years of research with leading University hospitals (Harvard, Michigan, Houston, & Georgia) led to a safe and efficent treatment.

Up to date, Vibrant conducted 4 multicenter, double-blind clinical studies with over 800 Chronic Idiopathic Constipation (CIC) patients with over 135 gastro medical centers in the US.

The clinical studies show improvment with an addtional 1 complete spontaneous bowel movement (CSBM) compared to their previous condition and
improvment with additional 2 CSBM/week compared to their previous condition.

During the studies, no related side effects, such as nausea or diarrhea were recorded.
